This is the same signal for the brake lights. If the cruise is not canceling, and it is stubborn for selecting a starting gear, the body controller may not be getting a brake pedal application signal. There is an air pressure sensor in the dash that reads air brake application. Make sure none of these are tripped, blown or loose. The ignition fuse is a 5 amp fuse located in spot F11-D. The main ABS fuses or breakers are located in the fuse panel in front of the passenger seat, located in spots F8-B and F8-D. If you turn the key on and do not hear the clicks this means the ABS module is not powering up with the rest of the truck. When you turn the key on, you should hear all the ABS modulator valves clicking one at a time for a start up check, (it should do 2 full cycles at each key on for 8 clicks). You would need to connect a computer to the truck that can read Bendix EC60 ABS codes. The ABS module will record what fault it is detecting. The traction control is actually controlled by the ABS module. With most ABS system faults the ABS is fully or partially disabled along with the traction control. The ABS module has detected a problem with the ABS system somewhere. It is not saying that specifically the module itself is faulty. The message in the LCD is only saying the problem is with the ABS system. You would remove that little kick panel to access it. The ABS module is located on the inside wall of the cab, near the floor, directly in front of the passenger door.
